Manage social distancing automatically on seating plans

The challenge with social distanced seated events is to ensure that each group of customers are separated by a safe distance whilst ensuring you do not leave empty seats unnecessarily. You can use the social distancing tool on any new or existing seating plans: when a customer books seats, the seats immediately on either side of these seats are automatically removed for sale.

You can select 1, 2 or 3 seats to be removed on either side. Here' san illustration of how it works:
This tool can be enabled for events individually as needed from the Listing page for each event. You can also disable entire rows automatically (1 or 2) in order to create further distancing:

The social distancing tool can be enabled and configured independently for each event.

Go to the Events page by clicking on [Events]:

Select your chosen event by clicking on its name (in the events list column, on the left):

In the Event section, click on [Listing]:

At the bottom of the page, click on the 'Social Distancing' switch to enable/disable it:

Select how many seats you want to remove on either side of each booking and how many rows to remove ('1' will remove every other row, '2' will remove two rows every three).

Click [Save]:

Note: Alternatively, we can change or update your plan to eliminate rows (and/or seat) if you require a more permanent solution.

Note: In all cases, our existing isolated seat protection tool still works alongside the social distancing tool.
