To change an existing ticket or create a new one from scratch, go to the 'Events' page and select your chosen event:
Step 1 (either A or B)
A. For existing performances, edit your chosen performance by clicking on [Edit].
B. For new performances (i.e. not yet created), you first need to amend the [Template for New Performances] situated in the header of the 'Performances' table before you create any performance:
Step 2 (either A or B)
A. To change an existing ticket, identify it from the ones already created and click on [Edit]:
B. To create a new ticket, click on [New Ticket]:
The ticket configuration page contains many settings, reflecting the wide variety of tickets you can create. You will find below each section clearly detailed so you can change or create exactly what you need.
Title
Enter the title of your ticket, e.g. Adult, Child, Group of 10+, Admission, Standard, etc. Do not enter the event name, the date and time or the word 'ticket'. It will be displayed on the booking pages and on the printed tickets customers receive.
Used By
You can specify if your ticket is to be used by customers and/or admin users. When these options are enabled (ticked), the corresponding users (customer and admins) will see the ticket and will be able to buy it. When disabled (un-ticked) the corresponding users will simply not see the ticket at all.
Once enabled, you can also specify if a voucher will be required to make the ticket visible.
If you specify that a voucher is required, the 'Tag' field appears. The tag is used to link the ticket to the voucher system. It is usually a single word. e.g. 'Members' or 'July 2019 Promotion':
Admittance
You can specify if the ticket will admit a fixed number of people (e.g. one person per ticket or four people per family ticket) or a range or people (e.g. groups of ten or more people or groups of 10 to 20 people).
When 'Fixed' is selected, enter the number of people in the 'Admits' field. When 'Variable' is selected, enter the minimum number of people in the first 'Lower limit' field and the maximum in the 'Upper limit' one (you can leave these blank if there is no minimum or maximum - e.g. for groups of ten people or more).
OPTIONAL SETTINGS
Visible From/To
You can specify if your tickets can be purchased from and to certain dates. This is typically used in early bird pricing whereby a cheaper ticket will only be made available for purchase up until a certain date and the standard priced option will only be available after a certain date. You can only define a date, the time will always be midnight.
When both fields are left blank, the ticket will always be available for purchase; this is the configuration used in most cases.
Maximum per order
You can limit the number of times this ticket that can be purchased
within
the same order.
Price Description
You can replace the ticket price shown to your customers by a description of your choice. For example, for cheaper tickets, you could write '10% OFF!'. For group tickets, you could write '$15 per Person'.
AREA PRICING
Pricing Mode
The prices you will specify in the pricing table can either be for the whole ticket or for each person the ticket can admit. For example, if your ticket admits four people (e.g. family ticket) the price you set can be for the whole ticket (i.e. for the four people as a group) or for each person individually. Typically 'Fixed' admittance tickets should be priced 'per Ticket' and 'Variable' admittance tickets should be priced 'per Person'.
Depending on your (plans and areas) setup you will see one or more area. You can specify in which area(s) the ticket is available by adding a tick to the ‘Include’ field. You can also specify, for each area separately, the ticket price and fee.
