Change when an event sales start and stop

Events are listed online with tickets available for sale when they are published and the customer access is enabled for the performance(s). Events are listed online until the performance starts.

Start and stop sales manually

You can set manually when your performances go on and off sale my un-publishing the event or removing customer access to the performance. Click on the switch to un-puplish or remove access:

Start and stop sales automatically with the ticket visibility settings
Alternatively, it is possible to restrict automatically when tickets are available for sale by using the ticket 'Visibility From/To' date range.

Stop sales and display a custom message
You can make the event artificially sold out (to stop ticket sales) and display a custom message if you want the event to remain visible with ticket sales closed. Instead of the default 'Sold out' message, you can display an alternative (e.g. 'online sales closed. Door sales only.'):
  1. Remove the 'Used by Customer' option on all tickets or reduce the number of tickets for sale.
  2. Edit the 'Sold Out Message' in the event Listing.
